New Year's Resolution 2011 in Review

Its been almost a full year and I wanted to see how much of a procrastinator I am...lets see how this went...
This is the actual first time that I fill out an entire list of New Years Resolutions....see how it goes.
This line above is true...I once found an old email labeled "New Years Resolution 2009" and it was labeled 1-10. The first thing on my list was for me to "Complete the things I set my mind to" and # 2-10 were empty =/


1. NO Facebooking/eating/texting/watching videos while commuting to and from work.
I wish I could have kept up with this one, it would have avoided me that car accident. I hit a vehicle that had stopped at the light...in it was an old lady who had just picked up her husband from the hospital, he was just released from having heart surgery...GEE-ZUS! I felt like such a dick...and my car is fucked up from the front.
2. I will not eat from the following places for the entire year because they are making the world sick! (Burger King, McDonald's, Wendy's, Churches Chicken, KFC, Chick-fil-a, Jack in the box) I am not cutting out fast food altogether but I am going to limit the intake and it will not include these places above.
Wow, this lasted only 4 months, then slowly but surely I ate from 1 or 2 then all of them. Its weird how things work out, I started out avoiding this food then I went back to it in the middle of the year, then I slowed down again towards the end of the year.

3. I will complete my weight loss surgery by 2011.
Fucking shit, is this the only resolution I kept? Surgery day was Oct. 21st, 2011 and I am happy to report I am 31.2 lbs lighter and still going!
4. I will complete my Associates in Business by 2011.
Epic fail, I am still missing 1 class!
5. I will learn to dance for my girlfriend and take her out dancing.
I totally forgot about this one...Sorry babe.
6. I will not get anymore speeding tickets or traffic citations for 2011.
Fuck I wish this one was kept as well...I got 2 or 3 I think. 1 just last week. I am a failure!!!!!!!!!!!!
7. I will get a promotion and a raise!!!
This one made me laugh...I got laid off along with 120+ employees. Loving the fact that I get to go to school full time and not stress about work.
8. I will be more active and enjoy the outdoors more.
This has been better than last year, guess its a 1/2 accomplishment...Every since we got Beau our Basset Hound we enjoy the outdoors more. The little fucker loves to run!
9. I will continue taking a vacation to a fantastic destination this year like last.
Well we went to Dallas a couple of times, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi but not a big-o destination like last year...Next Year VEGAS BABY!
10. I will update my blog with the status of my resolutions and if I break them. Here's to 2011!
Epic fail. 1 year later and I am barely updating this crap...
